By far my favorite old school arcade game is Shinobi.  When I was a kid I would ride my bike to the local Stop N Go and play this game with friends for hours.  Sadly I never beat it but I got pretty close.  This game is a true classic.  I loved the graphics at the time and music is still some of the best in my opinion.

I think my all time favorite old school game may be Space Invaders, or possibly Ms. Pacman.

I traveled around quite a bit back in the day, so my choices of available arcade games were always changing.

I'd also give honorable mention to Galaxian.
